EGG CUSTARD OR EGG CUSTARD PIE
4 eggs
2 c. milk
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
nutmeg

Stir eggs, milk, sugar & vanilla until well blended. Pour into casserole dish or pie shell, sprinkle generously with nutmeg, & bake at 350º F. for 45-50 minutes or until set.

NOTE: You may use 1/2 tsp. each of vanilla & lemon extract instead of all vanilla. And, for added richness, try using a can of evaporated milk, adding enough whole milk to equal 2 cups.
