im just wondering because nothing like that happens in schools around were i live. im not a freshmen though.its probably just hollywood and tv to scare little kids.

Nowadays to trick are more subtle.
here's one, picture it:
Bell rings,
fat nerd flips out (he's never been late before),
Nerd makes mad dash for class,
You line up a perfect slide of your book bag,
Nerd does best Pete Rose imitation,
You grab book bag and walk away like you were never there.
Or you could walk behind someone and empty the contents of that big pocket on the back of the bags the nerds were, all you have to do is not apply downward pressure.I've once seen a femenine product (not a tampon) go flying over everyone's head. It was propelled when the victom turned around while the dude's hand was in her bag.
I've never done any of these things, ;-), just saw them happen, both were very funny.

Seniors would put freshmen in trashcans all the time when I was in high school.

when i graduated senior did that all the time as well as locking someone in their locker, and other pranks.
