Well, I am 6 foot 6 inches and I'm thick as sh*t.
That said, stick me in a suit and within the work environment I am a man to be listened to and taken into consideration. That's just the way it is - we may not be smarter, but we do apparently get more respect just because of our height. I read that in a survey once.
Ridiculous, but then I didn't make the rules. Nor did I ask to be this tall - do you have any idea how hard it is to go clothes shopping. And don't get me started on having to stand bent double on public transport...

This whole taller people are smarter studies and findings really bothers me, not because I am shorter than average. I just believe its destructive to the evolution of human relations.

We don't know enough about intelligence, whether it has genetic links or if its more influenced by environment. Genetically, maybe it often accompanies taller genes yet are totally seperate and don't necessarily have to accompany each other yet through natural selection, as the two traits seem to be prefered in many cultures they end together. Even if genetically, some people have more potential than others, I believe we are far from our potential. Even some people with brain damage, mental retardation, genetic problems manage to do some pretty amazing things that many so called "normal" people will never even come close to.
I am pretty tempted to get my hands on this research and tear into it. Im obsessing over it now

I guess since they are taller, their heads are usually bigger, which is more room for more brain.
BUT... I think that fat people are smarter. They are so smart their heads couldn't hold anymore brain, so it filled up the rest of their body.

No, I mean i'm tall and smart (not trying to brag!!) but almost all the high honor kids in my class are..well..short. THERE I SAID IT!! Anywho, the tallest kid in our class in a dumbo. The point i'm trying to make is that I don't think people's intelligence should be judged by their hight, width, skin color or any other trait like that.

where in the hell did you hear that no because my cousin was in 4 th grade and short and his mom was in her 5 year of collge and he was doing her work and he was getting it right and she is ever bit 6 foot tall

well technically, no its not true. some people who are short can also be very smart and some tall people can be dumb,sometimes...
