I don't see why not, don't worry about his looks, when someone is really nice, they become handsome in your eyes. If he likes you that much and he's sweet, give him a shot!

What have you to loose by going out with him and some other friends so that it is not a date, just some friends haning out.
Get to know him you may like him more.

its ok if u go out with him. its ok if he is younger than u, as long as ur not like 2 or 3 years older than him. but is he was 2 or 3 years older than u, then thats normal. but its all up to u if u want to go out with him or not. seems like u two are meant for each other so i'd say go for it. good luck

If you are going out with him out of pity do not go out with him. If you really like him then yes. You don't sound like a person that would hurt someone feelings, so just think about it first.
