The sperms that produce baby girls swim slower than those "male" sperms.
Thus, to have a better chance to have a baby girl, you should make love 2 days BEFORE your fertile or ovulation period (days wet mucus first appears) to give the "female" sperms more chances of fertilizing the egg. Meanwhile, the male sperms that arrived early will have died since ovulation has not yet begun. You could even begin 1 day before your ovulation or fertile period begins .
Otherwise, if you make love on the last days of your fertile period, only most of the "male" sperms get a chance to fertilize the egg. By the time the "female" sperms arrive, fertile period is over. In this case, the baby will most likely be a boy.
This is the only scientific tip i have heard. Note that this only improves your chances but is not a guarantee. Accompanying it with prayer helps. :) But it worked for us when we tried to go for boys.
Here is another website link that also explains this:

Try the Chinese Lunar Calendar....you can find it on pregnancyweekly.com. When I was pregnant with my second child they couldn't tell what I was having, everyone kept telling me boy cause of the way I was caring. So I used the Chinese Lunar Calendar and it said I was having a girl. Sure enough...It was a girl. So I wanted to see how correct it was (cause they said 100 %), so I figured back the dates when I had my first child (which is a girl), and it said girl. So I then I went to 2 other people (1 friend & 1 family member) who were pregnant around the same time I was and tried it on them sure enough...it came out accurate. If we decide on baby #3, I am def. going to use the Calender Method and try for a boy!!!! My husband says its crazy and that you can't go by it...but who knows????? lol Try it out on the kids you already have and see what it tells you!!! I would like to know!!!! Good Luck!!

I've heard old wives tales, but that's about it. The one my friend swears by is this: for a boy, conceive with female on top, for a girl, conceive with female on bottom. Silly, but it could be fun to try!

if you could 'getterdone' one eve, and if you could ovulate
24 hours later just maybe your chances for a girl are better.
check ovulation by taking temp twice a day to see if you are or not.
NOTE; (if you're always reg) .:[[[[13 days, after the first day,of your last period]]]]. <
48 hours. wait 24 hrs, then just hope for a girl. worked for me,,.

You can always have the sperm separated. Not sur ehow much that will cost and it's still not 100% effective, but worth a shot.

I dont think that is possible.. if it is go for it.. if i was you i would probubaly just adopt one.. i know it always.... feels better to actually have the kid.. and u would feel closer to it.. but this way you can choose it.. how old... it would be a girl.. and they would most def need you.

Unfortunately it is already decided..Look at your 3rd child's hairline, under the nape of the neck...according to a Filipino woman I know...if it grows to a point then you are having a boy...if it is rounded...a girl.

For what it's worth, I've heard that as you get older your children are more likely to be girls, partly because boy babies are more delicate and prone to not making it during pregnancy.

From what I know only microsort techniques actually work to any scientific degree.
