If a cake recipe called for salad oil, could you use vegetable oil instead and still have the cake turn out good?

Salad oil is vegetable oil. Olive oils could be used, but usually they posess a flavor that masques the flavor of the salad, so vegetable oil is recommended because it is light and practically flavorless. Hope this helps. ps oopsie, didn't see the part about your cake, lol, yes use the veg oil since it means the same thing. :)

Both are good for you, each fruit/vegetable has different vitamins. Thus as more variety, as better. Vegetables have generally less sugar than fruits.
