Best country on earth
If you are looking for a natural beauty, there is nothing better
The breathtaking view of scenario on the way to Annapurna Base camp, the panoromic beauty Pokhara from the highest point on the planet to the deepest gorge on earth and the lofty mountains and lovely Himalayas
all in a small nut shell ( about 1/100th the size of USA ),
The real Shanghrilla, heaven on earth.
All the world should work together to set this country apart and preserve this as the Paradise on Earth.
Good Luck on your travel

my friends just spent 1 year traveling aroung the world. here is a link to their website. that might give you some ideas.
http://www.ballofdirt.com/journeys/8208.html
i personally think that there is no one best place. it is all about you. what you want to see, what you want to experience. my best place is not necessary the best place for you. there are so many different places to see, so little time and money to spend. : ) i guess, that's why you want to find out the "best" to visit.
is there a country that you always wanted to visit when you were little? is there a movie that you saw, and you were very impressived with the background scenary? that should get you started.

Every country has it's wonders. It depends on how long you want to visit.
The Southern English countryside can't be beat for it's quaint beauty in the summer time.
The Taj Mahal in India is something that will make your jaw drop in wonder.
The gold souks of Dubai are litterally streets paved in gold...
You can't beat shopping in the Medieval shopping district of Muttrah in Muscat, Oman
You can get lost on your own private island in the Phillippines.
You can't beat Scotland for salmon fishing.
Bavaria is probably the prettiest part of Germany and the best spot to take pictures. Ludwig II's whimsical castles are everywhere and are a wonder to see.
There's nothing more Romantic than kissing your lover on the top of the Eiffel tower, except a gondola ride through Venice.
There's nothing like saying "I do" in front of Elvis in a Los Vegas wedding chappel.
There's nothing more exciting than a helicopter ride through the extict jungle craters of Kaua'i in Hawaii, except night diving with manta rays on the Big Island.
There's no better place to work than Prudhoe Bay, Alaska.
You haven't lived till you've had a glass of zool with an Iranian over baked rainbow trout in the foothills of the Elburz mountains.
You can't beat the night clubs in Helsinki and Copenhagen and Amsterdam and Berlin and Paris...
You haven't lived to you've drank a Singapore Sling at the Raffles Hotel in Singapore and looked for the Tiger under the billiard table.
Neah and Mulu caves in Sarawak, Borneo are a sight to see. Mulu caves can park 7 747 airliners within it's main cavern. Neah caves is over 7 stories tall and houses hundreds of natives who mine the ceilings on incredibly long bamboo poles to collect birds nests for Japanese Bird's Nest Soup.
Nothing will scare you more than being stuck in the middle of an Ashura celebration in the old part of Bahrain -- watching thousands of religous fanatics whip themselves with chains and beat themselves in the head with swords while marching over the American flag.
Four wheel driving on the dunes in Saudi is about as much fun as you can bottle in a day.
There's nothing like sitting on the Af Chapman (a square rigger sail boat/youth hostel) and watching the restored steam boats chug by in front of the old part of Stockholm...
Summer time in Vigeland Park in Oslo is a single mans dream as every beutiful body in Norway stops there to topless sunbathe...
There's nothing warmer than a Christmas in Siberia with Russian friends, Russian Stories, Russian Food and Russian Vodka.
You can't beat the Canadian Rockies for Skiing!
There's nothing like a kick boxing match in Lumpini Stadium in Bankok...
You have to see the pyramids and the sphinx in Egypt.
Indiana Jones didn't do the ancient city of Petra justice... You have to see it for yourself - travel down it's narrow gorge till it's too dark too see and then enter into a hidden canyon city with a turn of a corner and a sudden shock as you're bathed in the pink light of a giant Nabataean Castle (treasury building) dug out of the sandstone cliffside.
All of these things are wonderful. Visit everything you can, every where you can at every single opportunity. There are wonders around every corner... Don't just settle on one spot. If you're going to do that, pick Hawaii. There's always something or completely nothing to do there... and they speak English.
