Went for a styling job at Supercuts Compass Point and was terribly upset with the service. Hyped as the hip hop salon but the job was a disaster. First, the cashier was really damn rude as if I gave her trouble by walking in to have a haircut. Then, the stylist literally 'chopped' up my hair when I merely asked for a styling job with a little trim. I look like a cancer patient after chemo now. Whole head is terribly layered and I can't even tie up my hair! My styling job made me end up looking like a mushroom head when I asked for a body wave style. And to top it up, the cashier was a real AH LIAN! She was more concerned with her own hairlook than the customers! Flouting herself in front of the many mirrors constantly. She was frowning and frowning nonstop at me when I was having a hair wash. Kept asking the stylist if I did this and that. She can't wait to bill me extra, it seems. Now your turn to vote... DO YOU FANCY SUPERCUTS AT COMPASS POINT? I CERTAINLY DON'T

i understand how you feel.

i have not cut my hair in singapore (my own country) for at least two years.

to cut a long story short, i now go to JB holiday plaza for my haircut. after a few haircuts, i finally found someone whom i can trust and now she's my hairstylist. they give good service, even if i just spend 38 ringgit for haircut and nothing else.

Sorry about your experience but do you think you are really upset with Supercuts or the stylist? I think you just got a bad stylist that could have worked anywhere, and probably has. So Supercuts should not be blamed. I think there's a stylist like that in every salon in some point in their career. No one has a great day everyday on their job. And some people are so full of themselves that no one else matters. I think you just met one of those people. It's a shame she is representing a company and ruining their rep. If you were treated so bad, why don't you go on line to their website and file a customer complaint. I'm sure they would like to hear all about their customer service at Compass Point........

Sorry, don't know about copass point, but the supercuts near me messed up my hair too. I asked for very little length to be taken off, told her I was growing it out, asked for a trim. Walked out with too little hair, had to start all over growing out my hair. Put me back like 4 mths. I will never go back. I use a salon now that I trust, my hair stylist has her PHD. Sure, I pay more than that other store, but I have found it to be totally worth it.

I invest in my haircuts now because when I used to have a haircut with the likes of Supercuts I could never fix my hair and I had to go every month to have it fixed. Go now to a reputable stylist or a proper salon and you will see the difference. Hair grows better and you can come back every 3 months for maintenance.

I work in an upscale salon.. We have a supercuts next to us and we laugh at them as they walk by our salon.. LOL They come in and apply all the time but we never hire them. If you do bad hair, you work at a place like that..

I wish I was near to fix your hair for you.. You need to find someone regular to do your hair.. Just remember, you get what you pay for sometimes...

Did you bring a picture of what you wanted your hair too look like? I didnt think so....a hair dresser is not a psyhic or a magician....either learn to explain yourself properly or bring a picture when you go...and keep in mind they are not miricle workers...if your hair already sucks...a trim isnt going to fix it.. and as for supercuts...yeah they suck...i would never get my hair cut there....they are trained to cut everyones hair a certian way and no matter the type or texture the follow their guidlines...and most of them are within a year since graduating beauty school

I've worked at elite salons and "chop shops" and my hair services are always AWESOME!!!!!! plus look at your "upscale" hair on your photo!!!!! YOU need a stylist from somewhere!!!!! You wouldn't have time to look out the window if you were all that busy doing great hair!!!! LEARN A LESSON!!!!!!!
