I think that the right shade of blonde would look good on almost anyone, but you could do a deep brown (like a chocolate brown) that I bet would look fantastic. Go to yahoo pictures and search for hair styles or highlights and look through them until you find one that you like. It is best to bring in a picture of what you like and then talk to your stylist about it before you do anything. They will be able to tell you what would look best. Good luck I hope you find something wonderful :)

Both blonde, dark or light, and brown, dark or light, go great with auburn hair colors because auburn hair usually has these colors in it already.
If you want it to look really good get highlights and lowlights (so a light color and a dark color alternating with your natural color).

I have auburn hair and I usually do strawberry blonde highlights. You don't want to go too blonde.

I would not use any. Auburn is shiny a pretty naturally with out putting alot of unnecessary color in it.

im pretty sure blond, but auburn isn't the best colour to start with. i rekon black or brown would be the easiest hair colour to highlight.

There are many different gradations within "auburn". Either red or dark blond would work.
