Unless the well wishers are really insisting on they're good advice, I'd say go with all the above...just say thanks and go on. Otherwise, simply say, "I'll think about what you're telling me; just give me some time." That gives you the 'break-away' so you can get back to doing what you wanted to origionally...and you won't come across negative! Good luck!^^

people are very much interested in giving free advise and you cannot change them or such people.
One thing what you can do is, leave the place instantly by excusing your self.
or Tell them "it is very kind of you for such a good advise" "I will get back to you because I need more advises like this". Leave the place. If you cannot leave the place, they continue their advise. Because they know everything about all the subject available on this planet, except you.
Lastly, ignore such people as fast as you can.

its not about being polite or not by accepting "so called" good advice. They are afterall, well wishers, you don't want to dissapoint them. So the best thing to do is just nod your head and say thanks for the advice, and you decide wether it is or not.

there is no way to decline it. All you can do is just grin and bear it. You should consider the advice. If you do consider it and disagree with it, then you don't have to take the advice.
Or just act like they never gave you advice, like it never happened

Smile warmly, and say 'thank you'
Advice never leaves us.. it will always remain with us. We may chose not to use it today, tomorrow, or even ten years from now. If it's good advice, we'll realize it, sooner or later.. and smile once more.
Until then.. smile.. and continue moving forward

May your journey take you to the truth..

Just because they offer advice doesn't mean you have to take it. Just thank them for their interest, change the subject, and do whatever you were going to do in the first place.

You might say something to the effect of:

"I appreciate your good intentions but I have been so inundated with advice that I just need to step back and catch my breath. Please don't be offended but I cannot take any more advice at this time."

Tell them thanks for the advice but you think you are going to try something else or you just dont think their advice will work for you. Let them know you appreciate their advice.
