If Christians,Islams and Jews believe in the same God, why don't we stop this hate and nonsense?

All of us have this in common. We believe in a superior being that we call God. Why don't we unite, and believe in the same God and forget about all that non sense and stupidities that divide us that only degrade the human race. We are destroying ourselves for stupid reasons.

Lets forget about the past, (The Crusades), and lets think about the present.

Why there is so much vengeance in this World? In the end having all the power doesn't bring any happiness, just fake satisfaction.

Look closely at all the people around you. Observe their beliefs. You hold the illusion that your group believes the same things. Actually, each individual believes what he is comfortable with.

Now express this understanding in terms of three separate religions. Each individual in each of these religions will believe what he is comfortable with. On the surface, for appearances (and sometimes survival) members of groups look homogenous.

Now perform another exercise. Closely observe religion across an economic spectrum ( if you can). Look at how rich people relate to their espoused beliefs. Look at how the middle class and poor relate to their beliefs.

You will find that the the law abiding poor will put more weight in faith, and their beliefs will often be more superstitious and fear dominated. The middle class will be the most diverse, while the rich will demonstrate the greatest disconnection to faith and the greatest connection to rational determined action.

With some consideration, you should be able to take these observations and extrapolate why we cannot "forget about the past".

The issues of this day have nothing to do with relligion, except as a deception. The weak minded are being manipulated through their beliefs. I am not inferring that the muslims are weak minded: in fact, our own country is suffering the same manipulation.

The real question here is why are the financial interests manipulating all of us not transparant to all people of the world so that we can make consideration as to whether we would like to be manipulated by them.

I betcha we could work on that hate issue then.

What I can say is that Muslims and Christians technically do not believe in the same God. Muslims believe that God has no son, and that God is the One and only. Muslims do believe in Jesus, but very differently than Christians do (mainly in the fact that he is not God's son and he did not die on the cross). So, if you want my opinion, I do not believe these two groups worship the same God. I cannot make any comments about Jews, because I am not knowledgeable enough about Judaism. I know that Christianity, Islam, and Judaism however all show the importance of love and respect, and it's sad that the world is full of lots of hate instead.

Thats exactly true .They all believe in one God but then this much war and fighthing .

You know it is not the religions causing all these traubles , it just power and money wich people fight over and then they use religion as the point to bring the differences and hatred.

If religious people think they will see that all religions have thought them about peace , love and tolerance none of them talk about hatred .

Any war like Crusade was just in the name of religion.

If we follow what God says then there will be no war or poverty all over the world as every body will love others and will help others.

Muslims and Jews do not believe that Jesus was God. Neither believe in the New Testament. Jews do not believe that the Quran is true. The Muslims and the Jews both are still fighting for the blessings given by God through their father Abraham. It is like a sibling rivalry.

Christians believe the Old and New Testaments of the Bible. They belief Jesus is God. They believe the Jews gave up their blessings from God when they convinced the Romans to kill Jesus.

Actually each of these three major religions believe in different Gods. Only one religion believes in the one true God. Which one do you think it is?

The problem is that not all people look at Christians, Islams, and Jews as believing in the same God. Also regardless of belief in God a lot of believers want others to believe in their exact same religion. Religious differences have been the cause of some of the bloodiest battles in the history of the world, it's probably not going to change any time in the near future.

yhwh was the intials moses wrote for gods name it meant in acrosstics _your _holy _word _here! god has the name of names and likewise having nicholas as a name its one of those nicknames so ive told people just call me what you want as long as its something good. god planed that name to signafy that no matter what you call him the laws of {_love _and _wisdom} apply to all humanity and every religeon, also if they alll agree that god created humanity then god surely has a son and a daughter as we are the children of the creator but some say jesus was the only begotten son of god and if hes the creator how can he beget what he already has?as all are gods children! but if the name jesus means {the people of humanity} then that would mean gods begotten all of us!those who dont know they are related as a creation of the creator might ask for adoption into the following of god so begeting followers is tecknicaly begetting those people who did not naturaly follow thus it is for sinners who dont naturaly follow many dont know this so they are possesed by ignorence and do ignorenly arguing ignorenly and ignorenly become hypocrits of what they claim to follow and deceptive leaders use ignorence to cause such ignorence against the laws,so alot of people are miss ledd its the old trick say we are buddies but we act like enemies so the wars start and the people are ledd to oppose each other!,so what is their selfish motives?alot of people dont know any thing except that other relatives were killed by the opossit sides like fighting will bring them back,but i do agree with you, think of the present,if your being attackt how do you stop it thats all many want but then again you cant be untouchable because that power can fall in the wrong hands and become your own destruction or enslavement,the trade center had alot to do with the missle program,ie to be un touchable by the missles!the world does not want a power they can not defeat, the trade center action was the wrong way to go about it majorly but the effort was actualy about that and then twisted and then the focus switched to saadam who got power against the peoples will of corse i remember the first votes about bush and how popularity looses is still against majority votes and i dont care what the vote game was but its not right but thats the past right?

Don't wish to offend even though I know you will be but, here goes, you are all blinded by the god of this system of things, the ruler of this world who is misleading the entire inhabited earth. Until you put away your pride which is the very thing that caused Satan's downfall, you will not see the truth. God, the true God, Jehovah, will exhalt those who humble themselves, and that would mean taking a good hard look at your religion and honestly see if they are truely living up to God's word and not their own doctrine.

Because people are just not tolerant. Everyone has free will and the right to choose what they want to believe. In the end judgement will only come from God to every individual. The only one who gets satisfaction of all this hatred is The Devil those who hate are doing his will.

We have a religion problem because some of us believe that our religion is right and that we worship the one true god but when we get to Heaven then we all will be surprised. If we let go of whose right and whose wrong issues then we would have peace in this world but unfortunately we have fanatics and extremists that want to force conversion and killed anyone that believe differently which is where the problem lies.

While Christians, Jews, and Muslims have many different beliefs and practices, the main core of each religion is about surrendering to a merciful, compassionate God.

Of course, I am simplifying the situation, but isn't it really it really that simple? God calls, and we answer in a variety of ways.
