I start with The Name of ALLAH (GOD), Who is Most Beneficient, Most Merciful.
First of all, Peace, Blessings and Mercy of ALLAH be on u.
thanx for asking such a question. and i assume u know the answer, but i will answer it for All the rest. i m sure every Religion tells abt the Best Way to Live Life i.e. Peacefully, But Islam is The Only Religion which also Shows us The Best Way to Live Life, Peacefully. Islam is The Religion of Peace, Love, Harmony & Humanity.

Islam tells us what can we eat (Halal) and what Not to eat (Haram) ... Islam has mentioned the animals, the birds and the fishes that can be eaten and categorized them accordingly :- For example only herbivorous animals are to be eaten, birds with straight beak (except crow) and a parrot can be eaten, almost all kind of fishes can be eaten. pork is strongly Prohibited and is Haram.

Islam tells u what u should wear ......... there are actually a few conditions regarding it :-
1) Clothes should abt able to hide the private parts of the body. For male, it should atleast hide from navel till knees, also clothes are Not be kept below ankles. For female, it should cover all from head to toe, except face and hands can be kept in open.
2) Clothes should be appropriate, i.e. Neither too thin, that they reveal the body, Nor too tight, that they reveal the figure.
3) Clothes should Not be of the opposite sex, i.e males should Not wear women's clothes, and women should Not wear men's clothes.
4) Clothes should be plane & simple, they don't have to be worn for show-off or superficiality, and Not top bright that they Attract the opposite sex.
5) Clothes should Not resemble the sign of the unbelievers, like a Muslim should Not be dressed like a pastor or buddhist monks.
6) i believe there is a sixth point as well, but i cant remember at the moment.

Islam teaches us to greet everyone by sending over the Message of Peace (optionally Mercy and Blessings also) to the other person, and it is to come from the heart as well. And, the response is to be with greater enthusiasm, But if Not, it should atleast be an equal response to the greetings of the 1st person.

Islam tells us 5 times a prayers .............. to remember ALLAH (GOD) 5 times is Obligatory, and those who Do it get a Reward, and It is a gift, to remember GOD, so many times a day ....... as Not only we go in The Presence of GOD, but also all are sins (except for the Huge ones) committed in b/w 2 prayers are erased, as though we Never committed them. Muslims are told to pray in the morning before the sunrise, then soon after noon, then as the evening approaches, then when the sun sets down, and the last at night.

Islam tells us when to work ........ ALLAH (GOD) HIMSELF tells us in The Holy Quran, that HE made day for work, and night for rest.

Islam tells us abt the true essence of knowledge .......... we should acquire that knowledge that we can use it in service to the humanity, and for the welfare of all, But it is discouraged to seek that knowledge which cause more harm than good (for example, astrology) or even that, which Blows up like Nukes, and cause mass murder. Seeking Knowledge is Obligatory on every Muslim, infact it is an obligation of everyone on himself, as it eradicates ignorance which is one of The Biggest Crime a person can commit against oneself.
Islam tell us to have excellent relationships with neighbours ...... it is a Hadith (Prophet's Sayings) that ALLAH (GOD) Commanded so many rights of neighbours to Prophet Mohammad (May Peace and Blessings of ALLAH Be Upon Him) through Angel Gabriel (Peace Be Upon Him), that Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) got worried that neighbours will get a share of inheritance of a Muslim's property ... Another Hadith tells us that, A person will Never enter Jannah (Heaven/Paradise), who eats to his capacity, but his neighbour sleeps on empty stomach. So, it is rightly concluded that there are many a Rights of a Neighbour on a Muslim, irrespective of the fact that He is a Muslim or Not.
Islam also guides teens who go through puberty, that they should Not indulge in the footsteps of satan (like dating, or drugs) etc., as it leads u closer to satan i.e. u can commit a Big Sin (like pre-marital sex, or a drug addict). Islam tells teen to have a control on their desires, as it is the Most Likely time to fall for satan's evil, if they give in to their desires. Islam tells us that since the body of a person is changing, he should be patient with it, and since hormones are raging, a person should be as patient as he can, and even Fast if he wants to, so as to overcome the desire to evil. And, if u can get Married (i.e., u should have some resources), then Do So and it is very encouraged, as Islam also says that getting Married and be committed to it, Completes one-half of ur faith (as it refrains u from, many evilry as fornification, or indulging in illicit acts).

Islam commands us that is the right of every Muslim on another Muslim, to go, see and ask the person abt his health when he is sick, and it is Not only for Muslims, but also Non-Muslims, as our Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) use to go to homes of Non-Muslims, as well to inquire abt their health, when they used to be sick.

Islam commands us on every act of life, to tell us the Best way to Live our life. For example, when u buy a plasma tv, u get an instruction manual with it by its manufacturer, so u can use tv with its optimum features. Similarly, we humans are a sophisticated system, and we have been given The Book of Guidance (The Holy Quran) to Live our Life the best way possible, and That Book is from Our Creator ALLAH (GOD), and also we can gather things from the Life of The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) (His Customory Actions (Sunnah) and His Teachings (Hadiths) ), as our faith is incomplete without following The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him), as He was The Living Example of The Holy Quran (like a prototype of ur plasma tv), and so His is The Best Way of Life, and He is The Best Human-Being there ever was , there ever is, and there ever will be. So, follow what ALLAH (GOD) Has Commanded us to Do, and also follow The Way of The Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him).

i invite eveyone to Islam. Research on ur own abt Islam. Read The Holy Quran, Read Books of Hadiths (Prophet's Sayings), Research by Authentic Reliable Books & Sites (Don't count on sites that defame Islam, 'coz they spread mis-information and misconceptions abt Islam, and they cant even back up there claims with sufficient proofs, thus they are basically rambling Falsehood abt Islam). Do all this research on ur own and dont believe in anyone's hearsay (Not even mine). May GOD (ALLAH) guide u on The Path of Seeking The Truth. Peace to All.

The House of Yahweh.
What do we eat? All foods that are scriptureally acceptable. We avoid the foods listed in Lev. 11
What do we wear? All people dress so as to hide any shape of the body from being pronounced and eye catching.
How do we greet people? With a joyful face but without a smile. Because a smile means you agree with the thoughts of the person you are smilling at. Since you can not read some one eles mind it is best not to smile at them unless you are married to them. This is a sign of affection.
When to pray? 3x a day.
When to work? If you are awake it is time to work, this includes study time and teaching the children.
What is the meaning of knowledge? To understand the scriptures and be willing to live by evey word that proceeds out of the mouth of our Father who is in heaven, beign taught by our Pastor.
How to have a great relationship with neighbours? By not tresspassing on any of their possessions. Ask if you want to use it or if you desire to talk to anyone that is not the head of the house.
How to treat your fellow neighbours that do not share the same faith as you? The same way you treat the one that does.
How to deal with puberty? Boys are taght by men and girls are taught by women even in the home. They do not share the same classroom, this keeps the ditractions out of the way and learning to a higher standard. Boys and girls do not date this leads to fornication.
How to deal with a sick person? Take care of them each person helping out as they are called upon and doing it with a willing heart.
How do we gather together? Men with the men and women with women, babies with the mother, boys of four and over with father, again the seperation for learning purposes.
We meet on the sabbth (saturday) and three times a year for the commanded feast.

daily chores - To truly own something is to bestow it with tender loving care.

what do you eat - The more natural and less tampered-with something is, the better. The Goddess nourishes us the way we should be nourished.

what you should wear - There are different colors given to each day and I try to wear the appropriate colors for each day.

how to greet people - Make eye contact, be polite, and when entering someone's house, lower your eyes to them in humility before entering (that's just my personal gypsy tradition).

when to pray - Before meals to thank the God and Goddess for Their bounty and to pay respects to the sacrificed animals that nourish us.

when to work - Balance must be striven for, and hard work pays off.

what is the meaning of knowledge - Knowledge=power.

how to have good relationship with neighbors - Do not give your time and energy to fools and leeches. Always try to remain on good terms with everyone you know. Always merry ye part so that you can merry meet again.

how to treat your fellow neighbor that do not share same faith with you - Converting and proselytizing is highly forbidden.

how to deals with puberty - Puberty marks one's rites of passage into adulthood. It is a process of rebirth.

how to deals with sick person - Prayer and healing through love and magick.

Blessed be.

Many religious faiths offer direction as to the correct "way of life." Islam is different than most others because the direction there is a unity of all society, where the political and religious realm are identical (This is what Iran now claims to have, a theocracy). The problem is that this is politically problematic in a time when the world is becoming increasingly democratic - with its separation of the religious aspect of life from the political.

The most active lifestyle religion I am familiar with is the Church of Jesus Christ and Later Day Saints. The word of wisdom prohibits, coffee, tea, soda, tobacco and has a number of other recommendations. The church is very active and time consuming and supportive. The sick are prayed for, and blessed by visiting priesthood, the church believes in chaperoning the young and keeping them active to make use of all that youthful energy.

judaism is definitely a way of life... pretty much every circumstance you could ever encounter has guidelines... it tells you about which foods are holy and which are not, how you should pray, when you should pray, what you should wear when you pray, it gives laws on how to treat the sick and how to treat mourners... it tells you when to celebrate holidays and shabbats and how to do it, it has its own yearly calendar, its own holy language, laws for charity, laws of kindness... there is pretty much an answer for everything... and jews generally treat non jews respectfully since we dont believe you must be jewish to get into the world to come

Religion is just a word. Believe in God and pray to Him daily, he will guide you in the right direction. As far as the rest of your question: focus on Him, He will tell you what you need to do. It is all in the Bible, please read it. You can go to www.bible.com and look up any passage you are in search for and you can choose which bible you want to look it up in.

It applies to most religions. Getting down to times of worship, clothing and eating that fits Islam pretty closely.
