Cavalier King Charles Spaniels have a number of health issues associated with the breed. The first step for you would be to do some research on these problems and any health testing needed for breeding purposes. Once you find out what health tests are common in the breed you can contact a vet to perform these tests. If and only IF your dog passes all these tests he can be bred.
Is your dog registered with the AKC or another registry? If yes, has your dog been shown, does your dog have a CH title? All of these things will affect how much you should charge for a stud fee. But please before breeding your dog make sure you do the proper research and health testing. Do not contribute to an already unhealthy breed if your dog has health problems that are genetic.

Just the fact that your dog is worth $3,200. does not mean that he is a champion or has a champion blood line and it certainly does not mean that breeders are going to be clamoring for a sample of your dog's sperm.
What are your dogs qualifications? Is he AKC registered? Do you have his pedigree? How many AKC shows has he won? Is he a proven stud? (I've seen some male dogs who are excellent at leg humping, but when they are "tested" can't recognize the front from the rear!)
I've seen plenty of pet shop puppies with exorbitant prices on their cages. It only means that there is financing available and you can pay on the pup for the next 5 years. A high price does not always equal excellence or superior quality.

There are several sites to check and compare breeding fees:
http://www.puppyfind.com/
http://www.nextdaypets.com/
http://www.dog-breeders.com.au/dog_breed...
http://www.livedeal.com/index.jsp......
But be warned, any reputable breeder will ask the following questions: it has no bearing on how much the dog cost, it depends on what his bloodlines can do to improve their lines.
What is his registry, are there more than one?
Is he, or when do you plan to DNA test him.
What, if any are his genetic faults (knees, soft spot, bite pattern, heart and any knowledge of any past generation faults)
What is his weight (current and accurate).
What are the weight and color of his parents and grand parents.
Do you do pick of litter in lieu of stud fee?
Is he out of Champion stock?
How many Champions in the last 3 generation?
What does your stud contract cover, What if there is only one puppy? What if the female does not settle? Do you offer a free return stud fee is she does not settle?
LOL, and you thought you wanted to breed???????
These are all serious questions that will be asked by anyone who wants to breed for quality.
At the very least, you want the breeding to improve the quality of the puppies.
Most of these concerns you will need to be aware of even it you just breed to Billy Bobs mutt.
You will need to be sure you cover yourself.
ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE FEMALE IS TESTED FOR BRUCELLOSIS (IT IS DEADLY)

How did you conclude that he is worth $3200? Is he a proven champion? A stud fee is usually the average going rate of a puppy of that breed in your area.

by you asking this,,,, tells me you are far from having all "your ducks" in a row with this animal..... as it will also tell a prospective client the same.....im sure
having a "high dollar" canine, does not mean a thing if you dont have everything else in order,,,,, and i mean, in perfect order...
meds, diet, daily schedules, paperwork for EVERYTHING, tests, and more tests.... garantees, contracts, etc, etc.........
good luck
