There are women out there who have their own jobs, their own vehicles, their own lives and can handle themselves...Yet they can't get a date to save their lives... Can anyone tell me why many men seem to be so put off by a woman who can stand on her own two feet, who doesn't feel it necessary to use sex as a tool, who doesn't want to fall into bed immediately, and who in general is her own person? Yet you see so many men's profiles who say that they WANT a woman who can stand on her own... I'm very confused...

Men want to have some kind of control in a relationship and they feel that if they date a woman who has her own life like myself there will be no control. Believe it or not men(some) like women who have to depend on them in some kind of way or another and a woman who has her own **** wont need that and men dont like it. so they feel intimidated by us oh! and we properly make more money than them.

A man wouldn't want such a female, a male might.
Why would a man take accept second best by taking a woman that when there are so many women who will devote them selves to pleasing you.
why do the some males want a domme and not awoman? because they arnt men
of course you could just be a pain who no person would want and your just grasping for straws, without facing the unpalatable truth

GIRL I know! It's like they say they don't want a weak little damsel in distress, but it's all they go for. I think it's cause they are intimidated by a strong women that has her act together. They need to quit being woosies and realize this is 2006 and women are equals to men, GET OVER IT MEN! hehe :)

Well, maybe you shouldn't assume the reason they don't want to date you is because you're strong or successful. That's not the only thing guys look at when deciding to date a woman. For instance, you seem to have a bit of a large ego, and that can be a turnoff.
