thats just dumb. You have to pay all of that money back if it is a loan. If they find out that the money isn't going to school costs then you can be kicked out I think and made to pay it back.

What kind of financial aid? If it is a grant and you drop out before withdrawal period then you have to pay a portion back. If you withdraw after the withdrawal period then you get a failing grade and will be put on financial aid warning. If it is a student loan then you have to pay it back regardless of what you do with it. I imagine after several times of doing this then you won't get anymore financial aid.

yes of course. Financial aid keeps track of your attendance at school. If you end up dropping your classes, you will have to pay back the funds even if you were given grants(like the Pell). It won't matter if you're going out of the country...you'd still have to pay it back and they will come after you.

It does not pay to be dishonest. It will eventually come back and bite you in the BUTT!!!!!. Eventually they will catch up to you. Especially if you don't finish the semester out, your going to have to pay all the money back. Even if its down the road. FAFSA, is hip to people like yourself. You guys go around and borrow money, then tell the people you borrowed it from, as soon as I get my financial aid I'm going to pay you back. Leave the financial aid to people who really needs it and what to do something with his or her life.

If you drop out you will be required to pay it back whether it's a loan or a grant. Why ruin your future like that?
