Are not we are all Americans here, that north-south sh*t happened long ago when people were stupid enough to fight with their own ,, this is exactly what Iran would like to see again,, the crap needs to be cut, and everybody needs to get along !!!!!!!!

Why do a lot of Yankees not like southern people? You have bigots on both sides. But, I think the yankees you might be talking about are New Jersey people and New Yorkers. Some people think they are obnoxious. But, of course, so are some southerners.

Because a lot of Southern people are down home and friendly, and the Yankees seem
stuck up and like they think they are better (and smarter) than people from the south.
Eventually, they learn this is not true, and sometimes they learn the hard way. Those that learn the hard way usually are very lonely so they go back where they came from.

I swear that there are still people in VA that act like they think "The South will rise again" and talk about "The War" like it happened yesterday. I had to ask "what war?" They looked at me like I was stupid, and then proceeded to explain that the war was the Civil War, only they called it "The War of Northern Aggression" or "The War of Rebellion" or some other antiquated term. The "Rebel" flag is flown at every other house it seems.
What a crok, these people need to get out of the past and into the present and future.

I am a texan full blooded southerner, i dont dislike yankee's and most of us dont, we often teasse and say UH OHH your a Yankee but its more meaning you dont like the Dallas cowboys HAHA ya know rival football teams and all. nothing wron with yankee's at all in fact a couple of my friends are full blooded yankees

If you're generalizing (and I think you are) because the North won the Civil war........Now........To be real, I dont know that the Southerners really dislike the Northerners anymore.......I have relatives down South and they have no problem with anyone.......
