Absolutely yes!. Rome is very near the sea. There are several beaches to chose from that are about a 20 min to 1 hour drive depending on where you go. Ostia is part of Rome and is right on the sea. It has very nice sea side establishments where you can get sun beds, umbrellas, showers and the works. There are also alot of free beaches that offer all sorts of comodities from sun beds to coffe bars and seafood restaurants.

There is a nice beach outside of Rome at Ostia. I've been there, it's easy to find on any map.
