She was diagnosed 10 mnths ago w/lung cancer. It was removed thr surgery. 6 months ago she had spots return on her other lung, colon, and spin. I do not know much on the subject of cancer. This sounds horrible to me, but I think it is a positive that treatment is shrinking the cancer. Is it possible for this to be treated and go away completely?

I'm sorry to say, no it really isn't.
Stage 4 lung cancer is a terminal disease.
Chances are that she will not make it through this.

It is a possibility because the treatment is, in fact, shrinking the cancer. However it is very serious because the cancer has spread beyond her lungs. Not knowing the specific type of cancer, its growth rate, etc. and more about the treatment it is harder for me to say. Stage 4 is very advanced though, so your friend may not make it. I am sorry. I do know that even when the doctors say that they can do no more be done, God can still heal. Prayer always helps.

There are entirely natural ways of healing cancer, but the procedure would be very complex in an advanced case as you describe. Treatment can be miraculously successful if the regime is followed with complete discipline and dedication, and for as long as the final shutdown of the vital organs is not yet underway.

Your friend's situation sounds very serious. It obviously is a very aggressive type of cancer. But my most important question would be: How does she feel about it? Does she believe that she would still have something positive and constructive to achieve in life? I believe in mind over matter. In my own family I had not just one, but a whole string of miraculous recoveries from conditions described by the medical profession as terminal. I also believe in inner guidance. If your friend was strong enough and guided to get better, she herself, would seek, and find, the help that she would need.

.Never give up! I know someone that has had , breast, lung, liver, & brain cancer. Shes a 12 year survivor, and still fighting. No matter what, never lose hope or faith. God does answer prayers. I am stage IV and plan on sticking around even if I'm surrounded by doom and gloom predictors

First I'd just like to extend my condolences. You are probably looking for some glimmer of hope but asking a bunch of kids on computers for the answer is not the way to go about it. A doctor would have told you the most probable outcome of the situation.

More than likely she will not. Once cancer comes back and spreads like this is only a matter of time. So sorry.

It is very unlikely. Treatment is palliative at best.
