I believe that it is from teething. It should go away in time.

worms will cause this and so will the start of parvo. Is the puppy eating, drinking???? Is it vomitting??? does it have diahrreah???? if it has any of these symptoms get to the vet immediately.... It also can be a bad tooth, or even the start of seizures u really need to see a vet as excessive drooling is not normal for a 4 month old puppy.

Excessive drooling for a poodle does not sound normal in the least, Pups chew on a lot of different objects, including electrical, and telephone wires, why not call her vet on this one, in case there is some foreign object between the teeth, stuck in the gums, legions or mouth sores, tongue etc. and I do wish your poo` the best.

Poodles sometimes keep a baby tooth and an adult tooth squished in the same tiny area. This will cause your dog to drool quite a bit. Please see your vet in order to have it pulled ASAP. If you wait to see the vet, infection can begin and then spread rapidly. Good Luck. (My toy poodle had the same problem at the same age. She is now a healthy two year old young lady!)

My sister had a cat with that problem, the vet said it was nervous or upset about something. She thought maybe the cat was lonely, so turned on the radio when she was out, and the car stopped drooling.

Does she have something wrong with her teeth? She should start losing them right now.
