You cant get rid of them because they are under the home in the earth and they come up through the mobile homes joins etc. The thing to do is get a pest eradication company to spray the underneath, crawl space and also around the skirting of the home they have to put a chemical in the earth that slowly leaches into the ground and drives insects away from the sides of the house

Ortho makes a product called "Home Defense" that works very well to keep ants out. You just have to spray outside the house around the foundation and any entrance and inside along the baseboards of any outside wall. I've had a lot of success with this product.

Call the exterminator. Have you put everything sweet in containers? Are you sure they are 'sugar' ants? Cause a lot of ants go for grease. They won't cross a powdery white line, so try epsom salts pr baking soda all around the house. it interfers with their antennae & they can't communicate.

This works for fruit flies,,,,might work for sugar ants. Put some apple cidar vinegar in a short glass, wrap saranwrap over the top and poke holes in the wrap. Fruit flies love it, go through the holes to the vinegar and can't get back out. But, you will want to put it somewhere to draw them away from where they are bothersome.

Put down a bowl of sugar somewhere out of the way. That will stop them going where you don't want them.
Also, they will never cross a chalk line, so you could mark off certain areas with chalk

I like Terro ant killer. It's a liquid bait that ants just can't get enough of. Unfortunately for them they end up dead.
