Alot of people do not understand that being an evangelist, I know because I have been one, is a job for God..this is the way that they are paid..and God said that a workman is worthy of his hire.
Now some, I would have to say, have turned it into greed..but they are not to all be put into the same catagory...some are really sencere before God...either way, whether being real before God or doing it outta greed- no one has the right to judge..God said that we will all be rewarded for whatever it is that we do..be it good or bad..we all will receive our just reward someday.

They make millions because they are not representing God.
They say that they are, but they are not.
Take one for instance.
Pat Robinson.
He said he had the gift of discernment.
He had a guy on his program that said he died and went to heaven. There was Jesus on the cross.
He was crying because people are so nasty. My Jesus got off the cross many years ago. He is never going to go back on it again. So was Old Pat lying about the gift of discernment or what?
Jesus also doesn't cry. He did when He was here in the flesh but not any more.
He is Lord and He is God, He is Jesus Christ.

The flesh fights against the spirit constantly and consistently. We as christians, must stay focused on God, not what other people are doing or making. We should not covet what other people have, that is a commandment of God and he wants us to perceive that as His will. We will always come to a point where we will want what other people have, but if we are truely christians, we will acknowledge that is wrong and ask for forgiveness.

Not jealous, just very dismayed. They use the Gospel and the Scriptures to deceive people, to fleece people out of their money, which most of them cannot afford to lose. Then they use this money to build their own kingdoms of cars, houses, airplanes, etc.. Imagine what could be done if they owned a simple home, a simple car, no airplanes, and gave the millions they take in to feed people, cloth people, provide shelter, to help people. Then they may be considered true ministers of God, not charlatans who profane the name of God.

Jealous...no. I'm trying to find one that's single and needs a bubbly blonde wife with lots of mascara to sit by his side. I can laugh and cry right on cue! I promise.

For many it''s not jealousy. Televangelists don't follow the teachings of the bible- you are not supposed to make money off of your religion, according to the bible. I can't tell you exactly where it says this, but I do know it's in there.

If they use that money for charity and for good purpose then that is fine...but if they use the majority of the money on themselves then that is wrong.
God said not to store up riches upon this earth..
