I am just doing it to get through school...I graduate soon so I am not going to do this forever. I am hesitant to tell guys that I am talking to because I have had men run because of this. It is safer than being a stripper and I am not having sex with anyone...I just get naked on cam...why is that so bad? My parents found out and they disowned me even after I explained it's just til I get thorugh with school. Honest opinions welcome :)

I see absolutely nothing wrong with it...& you're right about the safety issue. Your parents likely misunderstand what it is you do. It's likely a lot better money than working in a fast food place.

Good Luck to you.

Hmmmm... the other respondents already said most of the reasons why majority of the people look down on people like yourself and I think I don't need to repeat them. Your parents disowned you (and I read a certain reason as to why in one of your other questions on here) and I think they have the right to; unless if they are REALLY incapable of supporting you through your studies or there's really no way they could remedy the money you need so you resort to online stripping. But I'm assuming that's not the actual case. It was rather your choice to resort to it.

Although it seems to me that you're not willing to give that "profession" up yet for another kind of job while you're studying, somehow I'd like to believe that it's your goal to leave that "profession" as soon as you graduate. I need not to say for you to hang on to your "job" because you know that already. I only hope, though, that you'd keep your promise to leave your "job" as soon as you graduate and be immediately prepared to move to a more professional, or at least a more decent, kind of job.

I don't personally look down on cam girls; I don't see any problem with nudity or erotica. The only way that your profession could be degrading to you is if you are uncomfortable with it but pursue it anyway.

There are whole communities of people (with whom you are no doubt familiar) who appreciate the female form without being derogatory or abusive to women such as yourself. You and your customers are simply consenting adults making a safe transaction from which you both profit (i.e. they get something they enjoy, you get the money without going out of your way to get it).

I will not judge you, I was not placed on this earth to judge anyone else, but here is the deal. Joni, you are an attractive young lady who is attempting to get an education which is to be commended. Would it be possible to find a job that will be helpful to you once you have graduated, something in your desired field. Besides, what if future employers find this out about you... will they not hire you because of this, or will they hire you for the wrong reasons? I also viewed some of your other questions. One of your questions regarded child support. If you have a child, is this something you want your child to know about you?

A whore is a whore, get some self-respect. Selling your body ain't it, no matter how safe you are or how much money you make, it's your lack of self-esteem, stemming from lack of a personal set of well defined moral values, that keeps you from finding and pursuing your passions in life. Working toward your goals is the only happiness in life, and becoming good at something useful is the way to make money.

I do look down on woman who do those types of things, i have a habit of entering chatrooms to criticize them.
People with self respect and morals i suppose wouldnt allow themselves to do those things, you should really look at yourself and look into your heart...are you that woman? is that the woman you want to be? your daughter to be? you may need to do it to get through school but will this haunt you when your a respected woman with a family? Theres other ways to make ends meet, i do beleive thats one thats not neccesary

If you had any self respect or honor you would not need to ask.
