I have a christian roomate who is 32 years old. He has not been in a relationship for almost a decade. Never had sex, and is fat. He tells me that he wants skinny women, not fat ones. I tell him that he would have to work out and not eat as much junk. He drives a crappy car that stalls when he starts it. (something to do with the motor). But honestly what advise should I give him? I told him that beggers cannot be choosers (as far as women is concerned) he tells me that he's not begging!

He doesn't sound like he is the kind of guy that would take your advice. Unless he is wealthy, or intelligent to the point where he has a good chance of becoming wealthy, or he has a dynamic personality, you are right. If he wants skinny women-I would almost assume a beautiful one as well, he might be staying in his current situation for a long time. And, the longer he waits, the idea of obtaining a "skinny" woman is going to become less likely. The reason that I say this is, as we grow older, many of us (not all) become more aware of the fact that health plays a significant part of what we will have to contend with in our partners in our later years. Excessive weight implies, but doesn't guarantee, sleep apnea-associated with and causes many internal problems since internal organs are being deprived oxygen, diabetes, heart problems and more. If he is overweight, he knows....and he probably knows the issues that are associated with being this way. Your best bet is to ask your buddy to go for a walk with you.

ask him how he would react if a skinny girl he would ask out told him ' no i dont like fat guys!' And i dont think it was a nice thing to tell him that beggars cannot be choosers. He will certainly find someone who will like him as he is of course if he let down this obsolete idea of women he has ;'-)

Woah. Well, someone will desire him. However, if he has never had sex, at 32, he must be doing something wrong. You may want to show him what to do if you are having more luck with the ladies. JEEZ, I cannot imagine being his age and never being laid.

Christ has a plan for your CHRISTian friend. Let him find his own way through his walk with Christ.
The best thing you can do for your friend is to pray for him, that he would have ears to hear and eyes to see what God desires for his life, not what you desire or anyone else for that matter.
God's got his back so you don't have to.
