yes
1. no one should be called "father" except it be your heavenly father.. yet they call a priest "father".
2. they still have priests, when the Bible clearly states that Jesus is OUR high priest.
3. they confess to the man in the box! confessions are to be between us and Jesus (who is our mediator) and no one else. because no one else can forgive us of our sins, only God through Jesus.
4. they pray to humans ( Mary, people that they call saints) this is humanism and the Bible condemns this. example: when an angel came to the wise men they bow down to worship them, and the angels told them not to worship them but rather ONLY God. another example: when Jesus was on the mount of transfiguration with his disciples, they saw Moses (who had died many years before) and Elijah.. and Peter said "lets make a temple to them! and Jesus said NO! they were not to be worshiped. they were mere humans.
5. they believe that the sacrament becomes the actual body of Christ. though we are told to remember what Jesus did for us on the cross by having the Lord's supper, we are in no way instructed to eat Christ.. that is cannibalism!
6. Purgatory.. the Bible says "absent from the body is present with the Lord" there is no inbetween.. purgatory is not mentioned in the Bible at all. nor can one find a instance of such a place.
7. Baptizing infants..I can't find a instance of this is the Bible nor a instruction of having a baby (who lacks the abilty to understand salvation or the need of it) baptized. they are not at the age of accountablity.
8. the pope...again Jesus is our only way to God.
9. giving a woman the right to preach, when the Bible says that one of the requirements of a preacher is "to be the husband of one wife" unless she is gay (which the Bible says is an abomnation) this can't be done.
10. repeating prayers over and over.. the Bible says this is vain repetition and not to do this.
I could continue on and on....

Yes I consider the Catholic religion full of many errors. However I have yet to find a denomination that does not have some errors.
If I started listing them, I would have 50% or more of the people on this site angry at me.
Many of the errors are in common with the Protestant churches.
By protestant, I am including the majority of the churches that are not Catholic. the name simply means protester.
The big one that I am willing to state on here is the practice of annulments of marriage.
The Catholic church requires you to get an annulment even if they did not recognize your marriage to start with. It does not matter if there are children involved. I asked the priest when he told me I needed to have my marriage(outside of the church) annulled "why he wanted to make my son illegitimate by saying my marriage never existed.?" I did not get a satisfactory answer. To me it was just a way for them to try and get money from me and to dig into my personal life.
If you really want to know more of the doctrinal errors I see, you can contact me and I will share them with you.

I do believe that there are many erros within the Catholic doctrine.
I will list some, as well as some of the dates when these Catholic doctrines were given, but not give too many details unless you specifically ask for them.
1) The Catholic Church claims that they are “the” true church, the first church, and that they can trace their lineage directly back to the Apostle Peter. This is not true.
2) The Catholic Church claims that Peter was the 1st Pope. Again this is not true.
3) The Catholic teachings on prayers for the dead which originated around 300 A.D is erronous.
4) The veneration of angels and dead saints (375 A.D.), is not found in Scripture, and is an erronous teaching.
5) confession of sins to a priest (instituted by Pope Innocent III in Lateran Council in 1215 A.D). the Bible says that Christians are to confess their faults to one another, faults do not necessarily mean sins. A priest cannot forgive sins, nor justify sinful man. Jesus is the only one who can do that, and that is why He shed His blood.
6) the doctrine of purgatory, instituted by Gregory I (593 A.D.)
7) holy water blessed by a priest (850 A.D.)
8) canonization of dead saints (instituted by Pope John XV in 995 A.D.)
9) the sale of indulgences (1190 A.D.) which by the way is one of the reasons the Reformation took place.
10) transubstantiation (first proclaimed by Pope Innocent III in 1215 A.D.)
11) the doctrine of seven sacraments (1439 A.D)
12) the Hail Mary (1508 A.D.)
13) tradition declared to be of equal authority with the Bible (Council of Trent 1545 A.D.)
14) the Apocryphal books added to the Bible by the Council of Trent.
15) Immaculate Conception of the Virgin Mary (proclaimed by Pope Pius IX in 1854 A.D)
16) infallibility of the pope in matters of faith and morals (proclaimed by the Vatican Council in 1870 A.D)
And for the record I have many friends who are Catholic and I respect them and care for them, but I would not ever be a Catholic myself knowing about these errors in doctrine.

All religions have errors - look up the definition of religion - it's man made. The bible is the truth and God doesn't make errors. There is a contrast between religion and godliness. How about people take the time to see what God says in his Word rather than what doctrines of men say?
God bless you.
"And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free" - John 8:32

Yes I do, but not through the fault of its followers, but instead throught the misguided, greedy teachings of the Roman Catholic Church that has not changed in centuries. Why do you think that the Catholic Church is so wealthy with all its gold and riches. Look at the Vatican in Rome. All that wealth!!!. It is so ostentatious it is sickening. Why not give all that wealth to the poor third world countries then the Pope might get a reward in heaven.
And their teachings are wrong, leading their poor misguided followers to damnation. There is only one way to salvation and that is through Jesus Christ. Not the Virgin Mary or the Saints. They worship and pray to graven images.
I used to be a Catholic until my eyes were opened and I recieved Jesus into my life. I call myself a Christian, having been baptized again recently as an adult. I find worship more fulfilling and rewarding now rather than the dull, mundane, traditional indoctrinated Catholic way.

A couple of errors it has admitted to:
1. Proclaiming Mary Magdalene as the sinner woman who Jesus saves from stoning and the sinner woman that washed Jesus' feet with her tears.
2. Blaming Jews for the crucifixion.
But the big three:
1 The crusades.
2. The inquisition.
3. Witch burning.

Yes. I used to be a Catholic but denounced the religion because when I studied the Bible for myself I saw a lot of Catholic practices that were against what the Bible says. i.e. the Bible says not to worship anyone but Him. Catholics worships other figures such as Mary and other saints.

I'm a Calvinist, and yes, I would say that the Catholic religion has errors, but it's not necessarily replete with errors as you're implying. I enjoy attending Mass, there are many similarities with my own faith that I can appreciate and enjoy on Sunday morning.

Absolutely.
mary remained a virgin for the remainder of her life.
Original Sin
Baptism of infants
Salvation thru infant baptism first communion and confirmation (ie church membership = salvations)
Confessions to a church official, Absolution of sins thru scripted prayers.
Inability of the believer to communicate directly with God.
they beleive that the bread and the wine actualy become Christ's body and blood when you swallow them.
purgatory
Prayers to Saints and anyone not Jesus Christ and God the father.
IN short, Catholocism is long on seeing symbolic acts of rememberance and obedience as the actual means of salvation.
And as someone previously mentioned , they are guilty of idolotry
They could not set up their church structure to follow the bible precisely without giving up their position of authority, and that has now become their theology.
