We went to a start of the year meeting at a convent last fall (we are both catholic school teachers) and she took these 2 coffee mugs that have pictures of nuns on them, as a joke, and gave me one. i have been having terrible luck since then. do you think it's enough to get rid of the mug, or should I actually go and return it to the convent? I know this is a stupid question, but what if this really is the problem?

Yeah I think you should take it back from where you found it, that just might be the cause of the bad luck. If anyone spots you with the cup, just say I found it lying around and I was wondering where it belongs.

Weather it is attributed to the mug or not, It would be gone in a New York Minute! Residual energy attached to material objects are as real as real can get. It is a known fact that many people who visit Hawaii take the lava rocks and mail them back to the Chamber of Commerce because the residual energy attached to these items have caused much mayhem in their lives and they knew instinctively that it was the rocks that they took! Fact is stranger than fiction and this is one classic example. Give it back!

are you serious?im sure no body @ the convent really thinks twice about the mugs.know on the other hand, if your friend stole two nun uniforms(do nuns wear uniforms?)
anyway,if she stole two uniforms, gave one to you then you guys pretended to be nuns when you were drinking coffe that would be wrong.

It is not stupid, return it to the convent and pray for forgiveness, it burdens your conscience, and I believe that I am telling you what you already know!

Luck's got nothing to do with it. You compomised your integrity - clean up the mess you made.
