i want to download google earth but is it worth what can i search in it thats cool is it helpfull is good what do you use it for what do you search in it can i learn some thing cool, do you recommend me downloading it?

Its wonderful. My favourite reason for using it is it gives you recent,fairly close and clear photos of any place in the world. I recently took a 'round the world trek,and find myself going to Google Earth to view the temples at Angkor Wat in Cambodia again, or the Acropolis and Olympus, or even look at my father's truck still parked outside the house I grew up in... very comforting now that I'm living in a different country.

I think Google Earth is really cool, but not extremely necessary.
There is a great user community, so you will learn a lot if you browse around a bit. The satellite imagery in rural places is not very good, but in major cities, it is very detailed. It has a business search, or you can enter a location- as vague as a city or as precise as a street number. My computer has a Pentium III 800-something mH processor, and it runs only a little slow. I think that you will find it a fun thing to play around with and explore the world, and often a wonderful educational tool!

It's not too terribly useful, but it is very cool. It allows to get an aerial view of most places of the world via satellite photos. So you can see your house, New York, Baghdad, or the Grand Canyon from above. It also has features that will show you the locations of hotels and restaraunts, as well as give you directions.

i am presently using Google earth... the best feature i like about Google earth is not only does it shows the view from space they are the actual photos... i use it to understand my city more clearly.... all the roads, the restaurants and everything...and whats more? if i like a restaurant so much and if i don't see it noted on the map i would post it in the earth community forums and see it placed on the world map. see that's cool...right?
the only things is you should have a good speed internet connection... and believe me you will start to fall in love with it. and it is definetely worth downloading...

Easiest is to download it and see for yourself. If you do not like it, you can always uninstall it.
It gives you pretty good presentation of the earth, in photos where available. Those places with the latest photos are so clear you can see the people. Good to view places before you visit or a potential travel route, anywhere in the world.

it is not only cool, it is simple to use. type in an address, you dont even need the zipcode and zoom it is finding the address and zooming in on it.
Some areas have clearer pictures than others. I can see my car clearly in my driveway, in my exwifes house i can see all the trash in her yard... of course the pic is a bit old.. she probably has new trash by now.

hey man! personally i would not recommend downloading it and here is why\
1st it take like go-zillion mbs on the computer and if u have a computer that is couple of years old its a big problem also this pictures are pretty old!! unless you subscribe to their service $$$$

I just found it to be a fun toy to view my friends houses and neighborhoods. Can't really think of a useful task for it. lol
