My friend -- it's not that I want to apologize, but I want to make amends. I want her to hear my side of the story of why we aren't talking right now. I haven't spoken to her because a lot of time has gone by and I'm not sure if it's worth it right now.

A guy I broke up with by ignoring his calls-- I want to apologize because I was a real ahole. I haven't apologized since I have no idea where he is anymore. If I ever saw him around, I would say sorry for sure.

An old landlord-- he really helped me out in a time of need, but when I moved out I didn't say goodbye or properly clean the apartment. I've felt bad about it for a long time. I think I will write him a letter... thanks for this question! Now I have to face my guilty conscience.
