Yes, every Sunday. I am the pastor's wife. I would not go to any other... It is alive and founded on the teachings of the Bible. There are a few charismatic churches that glorify their pastor, but most are just down to earth, real places with real people who love the Lord with all their heart. If y ou have any questions about what they believe, email me.

Yes, I have visited in a charismatic church. I really liked some of the girls, and the refreshments at coffee hour were delicious. The worship was about as nutty as it sounds if you describe it to someone. Sure, it feels great to have hands laid on you and be prayed over. But it's as nonsensical as any other religion if you think realistically about it.

A lot of people in these churches seem to think that religion is a "feeling". I think that sometimes they forget that they are there to worship God. Sometimes God feels miles away or totally absent from your life. This is what St. John of the Cross called "The Dark Night of the Soul". I'm afraid that for people who are used to this "feeling" that their own "dark night" might leave them feeling forlorn and rejected by God, and cause them to eventually quit going to church altogether.

Yes, but I didn't feel like I belonged there. I prefer more conservative types of churches. We each have to pray carefully over our decisions.
