How do you tell if you have a lump? I mean what is the differance between normal tissue and a lump because there is tissue in the breast that is and feels "lumpish?" So how do you know the differance?

I found a lump when I was 29 years old and 8 months pregnant. After all was said and done with my cancer treatments, I found out that the lump my size could take up to 8 years to grow that big (4cm, not including the two other smaller lumps below it that I couldn't feel).

Please go get it checked out, if for no other reason then to not worry about it. Good luck!

if you have a lump then get it checked out. the best thing you can do for yourself is to check your breast once a month, better to do it in the shower you can feel things better with the soap on it. that way you will know if something comes up different. i check mine once a month and then i felt a small lump like a size of a pea. i got it checked and it was cancer. i had all the treatments and i'm still here.that was 1998
