How many people in here who have Fibromyalgia have been abused as a child either sexual, physical or emotional. I'm trying to figure out if there is a link between childhood abuse and Fibromyalgia.

I have Fibromyalgia and my doctor did ask me about those same things. I experienced all 3 as a child, but there are lots of people I know that had a bad childhood and do not have Fibromyalgia. And other friends and fellow FMS sufferers had perfectly normal childhoods. This is such a strange and uncharted disease that I think most doctors are looking for any kind of answer. Keep your head up and learn to pace yourself. And most of all, stand up for yourself and say "NO" when you are tired.
