I bought Norton Anti-Virus.. and I am getting a new computer, is there any way to transfer that onto my new computer? i bought the software.

Absolutely. Just proceed with installing it and entering in the licensing information. If you receive a block anywhere, you should be present with a telephone number you can call to straighten out the problem.

This is the same telephone number offered to people to register their software if they don't have an internet connection they can register from. The customer service representative should be able to verify your license an allow you to register the software on your new computer.

I've done that a few times, transferring the software from one computer to another, I do it every year. As long as you have the product key, and it's registered to you, there should be no problem. I have a couple of computers, and use the anti-virus on both.

Yes. If you have the disk, simply uninstall and re-install on the new machine. Or go to Norton customer support and see what to do. I'm sure it's a commonly asked question.

You just use the same CD to install the software on your new computer.

Norton is terrible,use avg from grisoft for free and have much
better protection and it uses up much less room!

If you have orginal discs, you should be able to. If not, I don't see any reason you shouldn't be able to. I think the best thing that you should do, as a paying customer, is to contact the company (on the web, or by phone), to find out how to do it. You should be able to.

take back to store and you candownload free from download.com free like macafee or avg free adition free for lifetime norton it's not so good

Well if you want your new machine to run at half speed, get the original disk and just install it.
