If you believe in the existence of a god who created this universe then everything in it is his work, including the evidence for evolution, whereas the bible is undeniably the work of man. Why would a believer want to reject the evidence of their god's handiwork and believe other men instead? Isn't that heresy, or something?

Good luck with your argument but allow me to offer you a quote.

It is impossible to defeat an ignorant man in argument.

Unbelieving sinners should realize that believers cannot accept a man-made theroy which dosesn't give God total credit because of the fact that there are unbelieveing sinners who use it as a security blanket or an excuse to reject God even farther regardless what claim of evidence that science has therefore evolution is heresy. The bible was inspired by God and everything is made by God because God exists. This subject is for the science section. Be respectful.

Because the theory of evolution came as a result of Naturalism- the belief that nature is the only creating sustaining force there is.

Evolution is an unproven theory that is an indisposable part of atheistic philosophy which states there are no gods and we originally came from a single celled organism.

If true scientists ever come up with more convincing evidence that we were once single celled organisms I gladly look forward to examining it to see if that is in fact how God created us. So far the true scientific evidence shows that we were created.

Oh you believe it is proven? Yes MICRO EVOLUTION which is variation within a species. This whole business of suddenly 1 species becoming another species remains the unproven fairy tale that is naturalistic evolution.

Lets put one thing straight first.
PURE Science and PURE Religion do not contradict each other
Evolution is a Scientific THEORY it is NOT Pure Science.
God has Created Rules and follows them.
God is Logical he does not contradict himself.
There is only ONE True Religion.

Evolution is a theory that all living creatures evolved from some a common evolutionary ancestor.
Evolution also states that this creature evolved from rocks and rain. the reverse steps are
animals and plants - single celled organism - prehistoric cell and mitocondria and chloroplasts - ooze that contains building blocks of life - rocks and acid rain - lava and gases from volcanoes.
that is what unpure-science claims you evolved from
Evolutionary Theory also is missing too many pieces to make a detailed map or picture. like making a puzzle with only 0.1% to 1% of the pieces. doesn't work period.

and since religion gives the only other alternative i'll have to go with the belief that we ARE created by God.
after all how does a quatinary biological programing language (DNA) that works actually come into existance by accident.
there is too much order in the universe for it to have just happened.

Yes, basically. God wrote the bible through his prophets, and the apostles. You can only follow them because they fit with what cam first PERFECTLY. God's word is perfect save for the little bit lost in translation through languages. And even those can be removed by learning greek, hebrew, and aramaic.
If those are the men you speak of, I believe it because they are impossibly correct and fit too perfectly with each other.
If you mean men of today, I agree with you, even when a pastor speaks, or even a man from "god" himself, it must be checked.
When it isn't, people like muhammed spring up, a one, single man denying the already written bible.

The bible is undeniably the work of man? Sez who ;)

The bible is the word of God, inspired by God, written by man. You believe in evolution, not creation? Okay! I don't. I believe the bible.

Nice try, though.

1st of all, let me say that believers like myself believe the Bible was written by man, but DIVINELY inspired.
2nd, not all believers in God reject the evidence for evolution (myself included); that is just a stereotype created by evolutionists like yourself to render all theists in the same light.
3rd, evolution is just a theory, so like most other scientific theories, it has not yet been proven true, so it doesn't necessarily prove or disprove the existence or non-existence of God as it is not a fact like you make it out to be.

I don't know who you think you are, but apparently you haven't studied the Bible to much. If you read Genisis you will see that it says everything that people who belive in evolution say, which was created 1st? The Bible or peoples theorys? Read Genisis before you run your mouth. In the beginging the earth was covered in water and void without form. What do theese evolutionists belive dugh, whos word came 1st, Gods thanyou very much. It also says To God a day can be as 1000 years, bear this in mind, read the Bible before you knock it.

Well to believe in God's work - you need to believe that there is a god - I don't !!

My evidence / proof for concept of no god is the 2004 Asian Tsunami - a Whole Maternity hospital got washed away with new Born's who didn't see the day light - If there is something called God - that just cannot happen - the little infants were not sinners to suffer like that..

If your family tree has a great great grandfather hanging from its tail, feel free to accept evolution.
So far evolution has been nothing more than unproven theory. It denies that our DNA, fingerprints, and intelligence is more happenstance.
The watch you found on the beach was created by evolution. The springs came from Africa courtesy of hurricanes, the face came from the bird who was lost it over the ocean, the wristband was morphed from the volcano in Mexico, and somehow came together and works in perfect synchronicity.

Rubbish.
