Wel it's a good sign that it is awkward when you see each other cause that means she likes you too and she is nervous. Try asking about her hobbies or favorite things to do - favorite food. What are her plans for later that day or that weekend? What did she do last night? Is it true that she can't date til she is 16? Just try to be yourself though - that would make things easier - don't worry about it cause she is as nervous as you are. Maybe bring her a small gift sometime.. that would be cute :o)

Wow so young and in love..lol...ok well first get to know each other more and let your friendship grow that can turn into a relationship..Since you guys both like each other you can talk about the silliest, dumbest, and intresting things but as long as there is communication there is nothing better than that don't rush things live with it one by one and maybe you guys can make it to that level..

Ah young love...how sweet. 14 is a bit young to go on a date...I wasn't allowed until the end of my Sophomore year!
Maybe you could go to her house and watch a movie...or meet at a football game. Do you have a church youth group...get involved! Have you talked to her parents and made "nice" with them...you'll have a better chance of getting a date when she's old enough if they like you!
I'm sure she is just as nervous as you are when you guys get together...it happens...just smile and go with it.
Good Luck
Blessed Be!

Talk to her honestly. Tell her that you like her enough to be just friends for now; and if you two still like each other a lot when she is old enough to date. A lot of parents set 16 as the date age.

Your still young, and your life will be full of moments like this one.
Im 33 and have been through a divorce and many relationships in my life.
Keep her as a friend, and find someone else to show your interest in. Dont settle on one person now, you are way too young for that. Make friends, enjoy your life.

Just be friends, and try not to rush things. You are still very, very young, and at your age it is natural to want to try to impress a girl you like. Trust me, as you grow together as friends, you will have no difficulty finding things to talk about.

Well that happens with me too but i think u should just try to think about or talk aboutt ehthings that you talk about on aim and hten talk about it in person. But if u feel like u can't talk to her in person but better in aim then maybe you guys should not go out.

If you are having problems figuring out how to communicate with her in person, she's probably not the right girl for you. You are also somewhat young to think about dating.

just talk....learning to be friends first can lead to a meaningful relationship later on in life. When you talk ask her questions about school or her hobbies...keep things simple and remember to really listen to what she says.
