Has anyone ever heard of People to People Ambassadors programs? the letter looks real, and there is a meeting that i am going to go to but I wanted to know if anyone has ever been in it or invited or anything. Thanks

My sister got the letter that you are talking about and went to London, Ireland, Scotland. It is a wonderful organization and was truely great experience for her. She kissed the Blarney Stone, stayed a few days with a host family and learned about the cultures over there and had a wonderful time. She came home a different kid and grew from the experience. If you have the chance, it is a wonderful opportunity.

Yes I have. Years ago, the group came to our town for a concert/show and two of their girls stayed at our home for two days.
I wasn't aware that they sent out "blind" letters to young people to invite them to join. It used to be that after the concert, they'd have an open call for any young people interested in auditioning. We even had one guy from town who was accepted and traveled with them for a year.
