good question that should get many diverse answers. Before I do venture to answer it I must really know what you are asking. What all do you consider when you hear or read the word Lord? Do you hear it always as Lord with a capitol "L"?

I ask this because the word lord defined in the dictionary has many diverse meanings. Likewise I am certain that the writers and the translators had their own mind sets as the did place the word in the translations. I am also of the opinion the even the original writers did have their mind set when they did use this word.

The Apostle Paul say, 'for us there is 1 Lord". The commandment uses the word Lord and I do see a difference between what the Apostle Paul is saying and what is said in the commandment.

In a direct answer to your question, yes the Bible does say there is one Lord.
However please do not take those two words "one Lord" out of what is said and whet is meant to form a whole new doctrine. The next thing that will happen is a new church will become a new religious organization because of the two words. In my view there are too many organizations already. Of course you are free to do as you choose OK. I will accept your decision. If I am free to say what I want, you must be free to say and do what you want in my view.

Do have a good day and smile.

Yes and his name is Jehovah.
Psalms 83:18: "That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth."
Exodus 6:3: " And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them."
Isaiah 26:4: "Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:"
Isaiah 12:2: "Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation."
As you can see. Jehovah is God's only name--he has no other.
He is the only true God.
Isaiah 45:18 assures us that Jehovah will not destroy the earth. He created it to be inhabited and promises that the meek will inherit it.
Ephesians 4:5,6 shows that there is only one faith and one God and Father. The many faiths that Christendom claims to have do not live up to what Jehovah God requires for that one true faith.

Yes. There is one God, but he manifests himself in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Basically, these are just 3 different and distinct aspects of God but still one God. Your references seem to support this, although I'd have to read the context from which they were taken to make sure. But the answer to your question is yes.

The bible is a book with plotholes. Of course, that's because the writers were people with alcohol problems. ☺

The Bible tells us there is one God and One Faith. (See 1 Cor 1:10...."I urge that there be no divisions (denominations) among you." And therefore there can only be one God because there is only one Faith.

Yes. Many people get confused and say there is a Muslim God, a Jewish God, and Christian God, but they're all the same.
