God is in heaven and earth, Jesus was on earth, the spirit connected them during Jesus's ministry on earth, today Jesus is God's right hand man in heaven. God is omnipresent, ie: in heaven and earth at the same time.

No, only Jehovah was in heaven while his Son Jesus was here on earth. At John 3:13 Jesus is here speaking to Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews who came to him by night, and he has just explained the requirements for entering the kingdom of God. Although Nicodemus was a teacher of the people, he found it difficult to grasp how one could be born again to enter the heavenly kingdom. So Jesus answered him: “Are you a teacher of Israel and yet do not know these things? Most truly I say to you, What we know we speak and what we have seen we bear witness of, but you people do not receive the witness we give. If I have told you earthly things and yet you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things? Moreover, no man has ascended into heaven but he that descended from heaven, the Son of man.” (John 3:10-13) In other words, Jesus was telling Nicodemus that he, whose dwelling had been in heaven with his Father from the beginning of creation, had descended from heaven and was in position to instruct him about heavenly matters; but if Nicodemus was not going to accept his instruction, then there was no other way he could gain the knowledge he wanted, because no man had at any time ascended to heaven in order to get such knowledge and come back down here with it. Jesus was not discussing any previous ascension on his own part.
The King James Version adds at the end of the verse the words “which is in heaven.” But Jesus was not in heaven when he made this statement; he was on earth conversing with Nicodemus. In harmony with this, in a footnote in his translation Ferrar Fenton points out that these words “are omitted by the best and oldest authorities.” For that reason they are omitted from such translations as the New World Translation, The Emphatic Diaglott, An American Translation, The Twentieth Century New Testament, and the translation by J. B. Rotherham.
King James had his translators add many verses to the original manuscripts in order to substantiate the false doctrine of the trinity and he had the name of Almighty God Jehovah removed except for a few scriptures. In the original Hebrew and Greek scriptures the name Jehovah is found over 7000 times.

Some people read the 'red letter' edition of the bible where what someone thought what Jesus said gets put in red text. Well obviously there are parts of the book of John that Jesus wasn't speaking (even 1 or 2 verses between things he spoke.) So this verse makes total sense if you read it as what God inspired John to write - knowing that John wrote the book of John after Jesus ascended into heaven.
Also read Acts chapter 2. Verse 34 says: "For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,"

You ask a good question I think based upon what you see in this verse [quoted below from net bible]. My thought is why do you see a possibility that this verse even indicates that someone was in two places at the same time?
"No one has ascended into heaven except the one who descended from heaven – the Son of Man."
I can see a possibility that it may indicate that Jesus as the son of man may have been in heaven prior for one view. I can see that it may say unless one is born from above or again he can not ascend to heaven in the future. I personally accept the meaning as the latter because I do not see a pre-existance of Jesus prior to his manifestation in the womb or birth. I likewise do reject the trinity flatly in my views because of my Bible studies. I do accept much prophecy that Jesus would be manifested but I see it as before the manifestation promises tell of the potential and proof of the pure innate nature of My God, God Almighty, the Father of Jesus and I hope you also.
Jesus called himself a son of man. Are you not a son of man? [see the word man as mankind or humankind]. Does it not say that woman was taken out of man or humankind and that the two male and female become one or one flesh maning possibly one unit of humankind or mankind?
Do not be fooled by the capitol letters in the printed Bibles because the printer does place those in place at his own option from a view. Please do read all the words of the bible cover to cover and let it all fall into place in a perfect constantly consistent pattern before forming a fixed doctrine in your own mind.
From this do not think I am saying My God is not in control of all. I am saying one must try to understand that there is a perfectly good reason for everything and if one does seek out the reasons much more will be seen as it is. "Seek and you will find".
Yes I do respect you view and you right to see what you do want to see. I must do that because I do see what I want to see and do feel free to do it. However I must accept that I will pay the price personally for what I do see and what I do say to others. That is called accountability. In my view this does apply to all but that is my view only. Not all seem to see that or to me their acts or actions seem to show me that they do just ignore it.
Do have a good day, smile and do reread the verse and ask for guidence from your God. If he directs you to see that it says there is a possibility that Jesus was in two places at the same time, so be it. Who am I to tell the servant of another what to think. I will not do that.

Jesus was the corporeal form of God
part of being corporeal was that Jesus was not Omnipresent, meaning he could not be all places at once, further meaning that he could only be in one place at a time
further, he could not simply transcend from this dimension to that dimension in which God exists
