American economy needs a war to prosper, so it creates enemies for itself. Neither Korea or Iraq were threats to US, if they were threats they would be threats for everyone not only US. And the world would fight together. Many children have been raped and killed in Iraq, which doesn't come up in the papers!

North Korea is working on nuclear missiles. That makes it a bigger danger to America and the world.

We invaded Iraq because Saddam Hussein was violating a treaty by not letting inspectors in his country.

Bound's hubby here:

Iraq. The Shiite fundamentalists are fueling the insurgency, and backing the global terrorism that is directed against the western nations and institutions. Iran's ultimate goal? Establishment of a Muslem republic encompassing the Southern rim of the Mediterranean and the current Middle East, for starters.

iraq was a bigger threat before we invaded. saddam was alot more likely to have terrorist connections, and had alot more of a free reign. north korea is bad to, but china does a good job of keeping them in line.
