Thank you, Georgie S. I appreciate that. It takes a lot more than what some imbeciles on here have to say to get rid of me.

He is very good on it. There are so many people who are fed up with the border situation that I think if he ran again, he may have a chance at winning. Wen he points out the problems, you quickly see that it is not just the Democrats or Republicans that are the problem, it's everybody, even the president, who's responsibility it is to defend our borders.

Hey, it's good to see you back.

I'm not a Pat Buchanan fan,I personally think he's to far to the right, but in the immigration issue,I think he's the only one that makes any sense,we have the Dems like Ted ( one more for the road) Kennedy that wants to reward illegals for stealing social security numbers, but nothing for the victims of those numbers, then we have Honest George that wants to give them amnesty and forget about the millions of other immigrants that have been waiting for years to come here the legal way, then you have the businesses themselves who are the real beneficiary of all this,by paying low wages and letting the taxpayers foot the bill for the health care, schooling, prisons and welfare for all these illegals.Pat Buchanan is not the great messiah, but on the immigration issue,he's the only one that got it right

I'm wondering if he is a deporter or a workplace enforcer. I like Tom Tancredo's views on immigration (which is workplace enforcement), although I'm not sure I want someone deporting anyone. There's far too much to worry about with that sort of policy.

Although generally speaking, he sounds reasonable in areas, and in other areas he sounds like he may be a bit out there for me. I think we don't necessarily need to cut legal immigration (as he perceives), we just need to reformat it. Repeal 'Chain Immigration', and the lottery....give more favor to Doctors, Scientists, Teachers, and those we demonstrate a need with.

I'm fairly knowledgeable about the issue, and I hope our next president is as well. They need to focus on current law and multiple methods of defusing the problem. I don't want someone to be too quick to move, but I want someone that can motion the change in and bring a transition to rational immigration.

He's right on. He sees/predicts what noone else sees or cares to address. If things continue the way they are, what he is saying will happen is correct: "we will become a 3rd world country" since the majority will be immigrants from 3rd world Mexico.

Those who choose ignore it are in for quite a suprise in a few decades. I didn't realize how big a problem it is till I read his book. We need a president that will make illegals a priority (if he can get elected due to the pull of the ethnic lobbies).

i would not.I recommend vote casting is like playing the lottery, all of it seems promising at first yet interior the tip you nonetheless could desire to wind up loosing. I recommend suitable now immigration is a robust subject remember for each guy or woman and there is not something that politicians won't say or do to get votes. If not ask Rick perry,he swore up and down he grew to become into going to take measures to avert unlawful immigration if he grew to become into revoted into workplace or perhaps set up the cameras on the border to cajole others that he meant it.And now that he's in workplace, all is interior the previous and forgotten. So yeah might could desire to attend and see on who might get my vote.

I try to avoid listening to Pat Buchanan's views on most things.

As soon as I heard the bit about European origins I stopped listening.

pat's been saying a lot that i agree with... but as far as immigration is concerned, i really don't consider it an issue to prioritize.

he's pretty isolationist, which i find sort of old fashioned and unworkable given our geography and the general relaxedness of our society. i don't wish to be suspicious of my neighbors and community: i don't think pat can help it.

I agree with his views on both legal and illegal immigration. I voted on him for President in 2000.

dont know what his views are on that subject. i never ever thought i would agree with anything he said, but when he said circuit court judges were more of a threat to this country than the taliban, i knew he had a little something up there. hes right on that one.

Aztlan and reconquista are a very real threat to this country. Americans need to wake up and smell the coffee... hopefully it won't smell like Juan Valdez and his trusty burro!
