I can't say for sure. But when I look at the current situation of the world and the wars we are involved in. And the current political situation. How we as a society can continue to move into future together is seeming less likely. I hear about genocide you know , mass murder of entire cultures for the benefit of the few in power. Take Hitler trying to elimate an entire culture of Jewish people, not to mention any one who was not white, blue eyed, and tall. That's just one case. The Hezbola and Israel conflict: one group of people is trying to eliminate another. How can we learn to live in peace accepting the other's difference as a gift instead of a Threat. Muslims want everyone to be Muslim. The christian wants every one to be christian. Jihad is all about people saying "follow my religion, be saved, or die an infidel. It is stupid. Ever been to a reef in the ocean and seen the wide variety of life interacting on a healthy reef? The mass of humanity on this planet is like that ocean reef, but humans instead of celebrating the variety of life, and choice of religion, and skin color on this planet have decided that one of the choices , their own, is the only true choice. The only choice. That's my thought today.

All things are temporary, so the world will end someday. I have no specific beliefs about it. It may happen when the sun swells up and becomes a giant red star in it's old age. It may have to do with climatical/environmental damage that permanently changes the planet. All things are temporary, even death.

Not yet, but the tribulation should begin before 2018. According to prophecy, the trib will start within the generation of Israel becoming a nation again, which happened in 1948, and a biblical generation is 70 years.

It's been the end of the world for billions of years. Just ask the life that existed during the Permian age, or just ask the dinosaurs. Oh wait you can't, because something wiped them out. Get my point?
