I am sorry but from looking around I really don't see girls like me that like to be more of a tom boy. I love science, going to college, getting dirty, working out, going scuba diving and things like that. Where are all the tough smart girls? Are there any out there? I don't buy millions of clothes or have to have every decoration for my house or a trillion pairs of shoes. I am pretty but I don't walk as if I own the planet. Are there any more of me out there?

Yes I am one. I hate shopping and always have, I hate yakking on the phone with other women (or men), I haven't been in the mall in years except to see how it was repaired so nicely after Hurricane Katrina wrecked it, I have enjoyed our 'rough' lifestyle since Katrina, it's like camping all the time, I dress very simply and have a simple haircut, I don't wear make-up, I love to learn things and I really enjoyed college when I went.
I have never had a problem getting a boyfriend and have had 2 husbands too. I think men like women like us. There are a group like us in the world but I think we are in the minority.

You are not alone! I hate malls and I don't care for shopping. I'd rather get down and dirty and work on my car, or hang with the guys and watch the game. My home looks a lot like a bachelor pad, though tastefully done. So keep being you, girl!

The tough, smart girls rule this world. You are on the right path, grasshopper. You will find more of your soulsisters when you get to college. Particularly at the small, hard to get into colleges, pretty but dumb doesn't last long.

Act very female, shave each little thing standard so which you have tender skin, scent solid (placed on secret deodorant), placed on makeup yet do no longer over-do-it, gown in type setting up clothing, denims and tank-tops in summer time months. Get your nails executed, hair executed, bypass paying for on the mall lots!

No I can't because I have panic attacks in the malls and feel as though i am closed in. I wish I could go to the mall with my girls as they don't understand and think i am just plain wierd for not being able to go.

PLENTY of Females like this -- that do not go shopping, have careers, got their degrees, are certified in scuba, love science, do their own home improvement projects, etc etc etc.

Yes, and she graduated Phi Beta Kappa and went on to become a physician...................hang in there and you will get to know many many young women who think the same way you do!!!!!
And.............she is beautiful and was back in high school and college!!!!!!!!!
