Cats are very finicky! Patience is key. Try giving the cat special treats and scratching her behind the ears if she'll let you. If you make tuna, give her the can to lick. Otherwise, you just have to wait until the cat gets used to you. The cat will like you once it realizes you've got a warm lap to exploit!

What you put energy into increases. In other words you're worrying about this probably will only make it worse.
Cats, especially female cats, can be very persnickety about people. The cat may feel she owns your girlfriend and you are an interloper.
Just relax and talk to the cat sweetly, tell her she is a lovely cat and you like her a lot. She will perk up with your soft compliments. You wooed your girlfriend didn't you? Just be patient and woo the cat a little.

Is this a new girlfriend? When I got a new boyfriend my kitty's would get jealous of the attention I gave him. After some time passed they started flopping over at his feet to be petted and sleeping with him. He would be in charge of feeding them and they would wake him in the morning. When you are all in the room together have her give the cat extra attention and you do the same that should help.

Sorry to say, you can't make a cat do anything, the cat has decide to like you all on its own.

my cat likes nobody but me,every time a friend comes over she just leaves the room,this is how cats are,you cant make them like you

Kitty is probably sensing your stress. Relax a bit, just be friendly with her, but don't pressure her to spend time with you. Talk nicely to her, maybe try to engage her in play with her favorite toys, but don't push.

when you pet, do more then just pet it, massage it, and give it treats and play with it.
