The dad is in the Navy...his ship is underway. How do I go about getting his butt in trouble for this? 3 months is a long time not to pay and I think he should go to jail. The navy was taking it out of his check and he said that they stopped the payments to me...but I don't believe that. Should I call the court house? I just don't know what to do.

Witha court order, you can contact his command and request that it be enforced. Since his ship is underway, contact the Command Ombudsman and they can put you int ouch with his Chief and DIVO.

The Ombudsman should be listed on the ship's web page, or at the FFSC of the base the ship is homeported out of.

Get used to it. I've been waiting nine years for her to break $40 on any one check. It hasn't happened yet. When she had custody, there was no month that went by that she got less than $500. At one point, her and her two kids were living off my child support. But when the shoe's on the other foot... Almost nothing.

At least the government will pay promptly, once they know about it. Once you start getting checks, the Navy will pay the back support, and make him suffer for not telling them sooner.

I had a friend whose ex was in the army and he tried that. She contacted his commander and his commander made sure that she got her child support. Try contacting the right person in the Navy. Call the courthouse and maybe they can help you with this. My friends ex was told if he ever tried that again his butt would be in the brig. He never missed another payment.

I haven't recieved any since December, and they won't even consider arresting him. However, you should be able to get it paid in full, come income tax time if you ask they will take his income tax check and give it to you.

Call the courthouse. He might still be paying it and something happened. You won't know if you don't call. Hope this helps you out......Flo

Get in contact with your attorney and have him get the payments reinstated.
