..All but 2 people gave us money, so I do I think someone for money without sound dumb. I didn't use there money to buy anything, I just used it to pay off the wedding.

I would write something like this:

Thank you ________ for joining us on our special day. We appreciate your thoughtful generosity and sharing in our wedding day. Thank you again.

Love or With Love
You

Christina, dont listen to my husband "Joe" , he's absolutely wrong, although u just had ur wedding, even if u had waited 2 years , my mother has always taught me its never to late for a thank u card, they are always appreciated.. (hes a guy what can i say)

As far as ur thank u cards, just simply put

Thank u for the wonderful gift..it is greatly appreciated... because money is a gift.. even if it didnt come in a box... its a gift none the less..

Simple sweet and to the point.. that way ur hand isnt falling off by the time ur done with all the thank u cards..

damn christine. lol i would hate to just now be receiving thank you cards. it sounds more like you just need to send them each a "hi how are you " and " just an update on us" make it a photo copy genric note that you can put in ever card state that with your hubby and the storm and the moving twice in the past couple years we havnt sent thank you cards out to them and just say thank you for all the gifts they where very welcome and well used. and youll try to send another card soon, that way you offend noone and your not krass as people should understand how busy you are. its been two years but congrat anyhow and best wishes to you and your husband.

LOL! good choice, paying off the wedding. Just tell them you appreciate their gift. It is the most versatile gift and you are very thankful. Something along those lines. No kind of thank you is a stupid thank you.

How about one of these to help?:

"Thank you so much for being part of our special day and for the lovely gift. "

"You have truly enhanced our Happiness with your Thoughtful gift. Thank you for giving us a lasting Memory of your kindness And generosity"

"Our Sincerest thanks for All your good wishes
And very lovely gift"

"Thank you for adding to The joyful spirit of our wedding With your presence And thoughtful gift"

Some of the other suggestions so great. Just make sure you spell everything correctly. "mildstones" = "milestones" and thank you for your "generous gift" not "generous give".
