the side effects of the drops are that you can't see near sided well.
To those who went for contacts and had these eye exam, are the black part of your eye suppose to get larger? i know that the drops loosens your eye muscle but like 6 hours passed, doctor says 2-3 hours will go back to normal
but it looks like it got larger.

Those drops make the pupil temporarily larger. It may take several hours before they go back to normal. Everyone's eyes are a little different. By tomorrow you should be okay.

The procedure you had done is called dialation. The purpose of which is to dialate (expand) your pupil (black thing in middle of eye). Mine took all night one of the times I had it done. I would call the emergency room if it doesn't get better by tomorrow since they are probably closed, though the optometrist may have an answering service to relay these types of messages to him/her.

You had the pupil (the black part) of your eye dialated; this is standard procedure for fitting contacts. It should be back to normal by the morning -- if not, call the doctor back.

It could be caused by medication or intake of alcohol. Do you take either of these? Check back on a dry day and look in the mirror :)

You should be fine by tomorrow.... try not to worry about it and get a good night's sleep to rest your eyes.
