Ok, i gotta couple questions about homecoming.

1. Are dresses longer, shorter, or doesnt matter?

2. If he asked me, am i supposed to offer to pay for my ticket, part of the limmo, dinner, etc?

thanks in advance.

For dresses, it depends a lot on your city, school, location basically. In smaller towns, it is usually more casual (shorter dresses), but if it's a big thing at school and the main hype, then it's more formal. (long dresses.) I went to my first one last year and it was like a prom. Probably because theres only one dress store around here, though.
If he asks you, offer to pay for tickets. Limo's kinda fancy, if you have to have one, split that cost. Get his bouteneirre too, or get creative and make one out of duct tape. (like me! haha)
let him get the bill for dinner, unless you're strictly friends, then pay half of everything, or unless he's broke lol.
As long as you have fun, nothing else matters
Have a great homecoming!

My daughter (17 yrs old) and most of the other girls at her school wore long dresses which I thought looked like prom dresses until prom rolled around and then OH MY GOD! The difference being that the homecoming dresses were sleek and pretty close-fitted while the prom dresses were all poofy and flouncy. I think in the area where we live the girls are just way over the top. Maybe you can try to find out what some of the others are wearing if you know any of the girls. Or maybe somewhere in between, like "tea length". There are a lot of nice dresses suitable for dances out there that don't drag the floor or rise up over your butt. Believe me, I've looked at plenty. Find one that suits your personality.

As for paying, if this is his homecoming and he asked you, I think you can expect him to pay for it. If it's your homecoming too and you are just going together as friends, you should probably pay your own way.

hey !!...well for homecoming it doesn't really matter because is not as big as prom but i think it should not been long cuz u are no going to be comfortable when ur dancing with date...w/e...but also not 2 short that u look like slot...u feel rite...and if he is gentleman he should pay for all those think because he is asking u ...but i think is good if u offer yourself to help pay the ticket , or limmo so that he knows that u are not a gold digger...but if he already told u that he is paying them enjoy!!:)

The dress should be a litle on the short side, maybe down to your knees. It shouldn't touch the floor, and shouldn't be shorter than a skirt. If you are using a limo, having dinner, then try to pay for half of the expenses. Sometimes the guys won't let you pay, but you should try anyway. It's just fair to pick up half of the tab.
