you gave your body time to renew itself. alcohol is a poison. it is possible you are an alcoholic. supposedly we can start drinking right where we left off, no matter how long. i prefer not to find out, so i stay sober.

Maybe your body is starting to build up a resistance again to alcohol and eventually you will get hangovers again, once your alcohol level in your body is at its peak, and even a few drinks will give you a headache.
You gave your body a rest and it is almost like if you never drank at all.
When you first started drinking you probably did not get a lot of hangovers until over a period of time.
It probably takes you longer to get a "buzz" also..I had the same experience and you will find that after 6 or 7 drinks you have had enough and don't even enjoy it anymore.
I still drink, but alcohol does not have the same effect on me anymore.

No. Most likely you are either not drinking as much as you had before, are sleeping through the hangover or have built up a strong tolerance for alcohol. At 10 or more drinks though you are at SERIOUS risk of alcoholism, Liver disease and Pancreatitis. The last 2 are excruciatingly painful. You might want to reconsider your drinking habits.

That's not really true. what it is
when you stopped your body got cleaned up. now you started drinking again and you aren't drinking a lot or aren't drinking like you will be in a few months. If I stop for a while then start back I don't drink as much. it's not true your going to wake up one morning feeling like hell. It's better just to leave that stuff along. Do it once a week

I would have to say it all depends on the person. I could drink all day and night and I never get a hang over. My husband sometimes gets upset because I always beat him in drinking when we drink. I love the fact not knowing what a hang over feels like. But some people get really sick the next day. So sorry for them!!!

Nah, thats a myth. You would have that because now you body it used to drinking more. I find that having a huge glass of water and panadol before I go to bed stops a hang over

all depends on your tolerance. I can drink 10 beers and be fine or I can have 4 margaritas and be fine. After that I will get a little tipsy. Never really have hang overs though. Maybe it is cause I am Irish.

I haven't figured out a good way to avoid them period. My theory is if you're still drunk when you feel really sick you don't remember the next time you drink again. Because if we all remembered how bad we felt, we wouldn't torture ourselves.
