This guy I have been friends with has a big crush on me and I am equally interested in him. It's so cute, everyone thinks we should be boyfriend and girlfriend because we are always together and we sort of act like a couple. We care about each other and we take care of each other. We get along great and its never boring being together. Hes a little shy ( thats what Im thinking) because I have made all the first moves. I admitted that I liked him first and yesterday I even asked him to homecoming ( which he said yes ). My only concern is why hasn't he asked to be my boyfriend? Or will I have to do that too.....

You guessed it he is shy and a little on the scared side. You going to have to ask him to be your boyfriend. And that's fine but try to help him out a little tell him he is going to have to step up to the plate a little bit.He will get better with time have fun!!

No, there is no need for you to ask him, it may just not be his type, some men do not like to be courted by the girls they love. Don't hurry for as long as the mutual feeling is there, keep it that way.. And that way you can hold him longer until he proposes to you.
And even if he will not propose or ask you to be your boyfriend, still there is no reason for you to make this 1st move in as much as you have done on the others.
Don't be so concerned about the idea, it will just make you unnecessarily jerky which might influence your relationship.
Just relax and enjoy your mutual relationship. Try to develop him so he can overcome his shyness, you can do that if you really like him.. Trust me..
Good luck

He doesn't ask you out because he is too shy. Maybe he doesn't know how to make the first move (maybe he didn't ask a girl out before). You know, you should just ask this guy out. If you don't ask him out, then you will lose him. If he doesn't say anything when you ask him, THEN KISS HIM! Then say "I love you." He will say "I love you too." Well that's my vision. Now isn't that a good love story. Tell me what happens next OK?

Take the chance and ask him out. You know he is shy so just go for it. It might be weird but at lest you will be happy!

I think you are right about him being shy. So just ask him out. It's obvious that he likes you too.

take it slow...homecoming is a good start, or maybe see if he wants to go to the mall and look for an outfit together
