i seen a few kids kicking the crap out of a crap so i started 2 yell the hell out of themthey leaved the cat alone then i went 2 see if it was ok it started moewing and hissing like crazy so i called the police 2 pick it up they did then the kids who were kicking it said i was mean and made 1 kid cry and get grounded

We have one cat who was rescued by the police while someone was kicking her to death in a grocery store parking lot. She's permanently blind in one eye from the attack. She's a sweetheart, she's sitting on my wife's lap now as I write this, purring and cuddling.
I don't think you were mean ENOUGH. I'm too old to beat the **** out of those kids myself and get away with it... but if my son and daughter had been there, those kids would be shopping for body parts on eBay right now. At least the ones who survived.
So as far as we're concerned, if you're ever in my town, we'll take you out for ice cream. You aren't mean -- you were in the right, you did the right thing, you stood up for those too weak to stand up for themselves. When I was growing up, that's what defined the good guys. You're one of us, and we know it, and THAT'S what matters.

Mean because you helped a defensless animal get away from kids, I don't think so.
Let's kick the crap out of the kids for hurting the cat. Those kids should have been charged with animal cruelty.

No you're not mean, they needed a good tush chewin anyway! You did a good job you laid down the law, helped the kitty, and did the right thing! Good for you! The reason those kids think you're mean is because you didn't keep your mouth shut and you got them in trouble and they should be.

no you did what was best for the cat. dont listen to those kids i mean they were the ones kicking it so their the means one not you. now someone can adopt it or it will be returned to the owners. you did the right thing.

If you didn't yell, the cat may have gotten really hurt and the kids wouldn't learn that it's not ok to hurt animals.
