That's from Armando Manzanero's song?
Somos Novios is difficult to translate as it
is more that boyfriend and girlfriend, it is
more like bride to be and groom to be,
so the best way to translate the emotions
of this phrase is to say 'We are Lovers'.
We are a couple doesn't quite cut it either.

Novio=Fiancé, Boy friend (intimate),Bridegroom
Novia=Fiancée,Girlfriend (intimate),Bride, Sweetheart
Novio+Novia= Novios
So when you say Somos Novios, it means the combination of one of the above two.

It means: We are bride and groom
I found a great site a while back that translates. Here it is you can put anything in either way. English to Spanish and Spanish to English.

We're engaged/ he's my fiancé if it is more formal or steady.
