what does it mean when people say "one" to eachother when they are leaving. Is it short for somthin?

That must be a new "one". I never heard of it before. However, I am trying to get a new phrase going. Whenever anything is good, like when you would say "cool, tight, mint" or whatever, just say "thin". "Wow man, that car is thin!", "I had a really thin time last night at dinner". Get the picture? "Answering questions on yahoo is really thin!"

unless they are refering to what time to call each other or when to meet. i have no idea what you are talking about.
